Journal Contest 

How do I enter the journal contest?

Log in and click the Create journal contest entry link in the sidebar.  

*Note:  Contest entries with pictures may be deemed [more valuable].

How do I edit my journal entry?

You can't.  Click the PREVIEW button BEFORE clicking save.  This will allow you to see your journal entry as it will be displayed.  Once you're satisfied, click the save button.   

Winning the contest

What is the prize for winning the contest?

$10.

How often is a winner selected?

There is one winner selected each day. *

* Judging will occur when the site has

x # of users

x # of submissions/entries that day 

x # of entries receiving votes

How is the winner selected?

Each day, the winning entry is selected from the the top 5 [community]-rated entries.  

Are pictures required?

Pictures certainly sway the judges.

Voting

How do I vote on a journal entry?

You must be signed in to vote on an entry.

Can I change my vote?

Absolutely.  You may change your vote anytime until voting closes.
